AbstractThis paper proposes a novel multifunctional screw-propelled Vehicle. The structure of screw-propelled vehicle including body, engine system, transmission system, suspension system, and wheels is designed and presented specifically. Function of this special vehicle is elaborated in details. Kinematic model of the screw-propelled vehicle is built based on the non-holonomic constraints. Dynamic analysis is also conducted and motion performance varying against key parameters of system structure is studied. Feasibility of this screw-propelled vehicle proposed is verified with simulation results.
