| Abstract | Chemical force microscopy (CFM) was used to measure the adhesion forces between Au-coated Si3N4 tip functionalized with -OH and -NH2 groups and gold sample functionalized with -NH2 groups. The curves of the adhesion force as the function of the solution pH values (force titration curve) was obtained. The pK1/2 of surface -NH2 groups estimated from the force titration curve is 8.4 by -OH functionalized tip and 9.0 by -NH2 functionalized tip. |
