Abstract The control and monitor system of the EN-tandem accelerator at Peking University consists of three parts: the control and monitor of the negative ion source using micromotor, optical fiber and microcomputer; the charging and high voltage stabilization system; and the automatic vacuum control system adopting two programmable controllers. Remote controlling and measuring circuit for negative ion source, scheme of belt charging circuit, high voltage stabilizing and controlling circuits, and protective circuit for high voltage sparks were presented.
