Abstract An all-solid photonic bandgap fiber with the first bandgap from 450-900nm was designed for visible supercontinuum generation. Sub-nanosecond pulses from 532nm microchip laser pumped this fiber with the achieved spectrum from 532-900nm. (C) 2011 Optical Society of America
