Abstract | The high spin states of In-112 has been investigated with gamma-ray spectroscopic methods using the Pd-110(Li-7, 5n)In-112 reaction at 50MeV Li-7 beam energy. A level scheme with 10 new band structures has been established. The positive yrast magnetic dipole band is suggested as pi g(9/2)circle times nu h(11/2)(2)(g(7/2)/d(5/2)) configuration and its properties are discussed in the framework of the shears coupling model. |
